Vinyl liner replacement in Memphis typically ranges from $1,800 to $4,500 depending on your pool size, shape, and liner pattern choice. Simple rectangular or oval pools cost less; complex freeform, Lazy-L, or kidney-shaped pools cost more due to custom cutting requirements.

Our free on-site estimate gives you an exact number for your specific pool — no guessing from a phone call, no inflated quote that comes down after you're committed. What we quote is what you pay.

Most standard liner replacements are done in a single day. We arrive in the morning, drain the pool, remove the old liner, prep the floor and walls, install the new liner, and reinstall all fittings and gaskets.

Jobs that require additional work — coping repair, sand bottom restoration, step inlay replacement — may take two days. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the estimate so you're not surprised.

The most obvious signs are:

  • Visible cracks, tears, or punctures
  • Fading or permanent staining that won't clean up
  • Liner pulling out of the bead channel or coping
  • Severe wrinkling on the pool floor
  • Losing more than 1–2 inches of water per week (beyond normal evaporation)
  • It's been 12+ years and showing age

Most liners last 7–15 years depending on water chemistry, UV exposure, and how well the pool was maintained. If you're not sure, call us — we'll come take a look and give you an honest assessment.

Small tears and punctures can be patched, both above the waterline and underwater. A good patch can buy you time on a relatively young liner.

But here's the honest truth: patches are temporary. If your liner is more than 10 years old and developing leaks, the vinyl itself is aging and becoming brittle. One patched leak becomes two, then three. You'll spend more on patches, lost water, and chemical imbalance than you'd spend on a new liner — and you'll still end up replacing it eventually.

We'll tell you if your liner is worth patching. We won't push you into a replacement if a patch makes economic sense.

You don't need to stand over us all day, but we do ask that someone be available at the start and end of the job. At the start, we'll walk through what we're doing. At the end, we do a final walkthrough with you before we leave.

Most homeowners go about their normal day and check in occasionally. We'll call or text if anything unexpected comes up that needs your input during the job.

We drain the pool completely before removing the old liner. The drained water typically goes to the yard or street drain — we'll discuss the best option for your property when we arrive.

After the new liner is installed, we start the fill before we leave. Refilling takes 12–36 hours depending on your pool volume and water pressure. We'll give you startup chemistry instructions so you can balance the fresh water properly as it fills.

Hundreds of options. We work with major liner manufacturers who offer:

  • Solid colors (various shades of blue, aqua, gray)
  • Tile border patterns with solid field
  • Stone and pebble textures
  • Mosaic and geometric prints
  • Sandy bottom and beach-style patterns
  • Custom prints (for larger orders)

The liner is custom-cut to your pool's measurements — the pattern selection doesn't affect the price in most cases. We'll bring samples to your estimate or point you to the full catalog so you can choose before the liner is ordered.

Two warranties apply to every liner installation:

Manufacturer warranty: The liner itself carries a manufacturer warranty — typically 20–30 years pro-rated for material defects. You get the documentation at job completion. This covers manufacturing defects in the vinyl.

Installation workmanship: Our installation is guaranteed. If something is wrong with how the liner was hung, fit, or sealed, we come back and fix it. Full stop. We stand behind what we install.

Yes. We carry a Tennessee contractor license and full general liability insurance on all jobs. We can provide a certificate of insurance before any job starts — just ask when you call.

This matters more than people think. If an unlicensed contractor gets hurt on your property, you can be liable. With us, all of that is covered. Don't hire anyone to work on your pool without confirming they're insured first.

We come to your home, physically measure your pool, inspect the shell, floor, coping, and fittings, and assess exactly what the job requires. Then we give you a written quote that covers everything — no verbal promises that evaporate before install day.

The estimate is completely free and there's no obligation to book. If the price works for you, great. If not, no hard feelings. We've built our business on people calling us back when they're ready — not on pressuring anyone into a job.

It depends on the season:

  • Spring (March–May): Our busiest season. Book 4–6 weeks ahead if possible, especially if you want to be swimming by Memorial Day.
  • Summer (June–August): Typically 1–2 weeks out, sometimes faster.
  • Fall/Winter: Shortest wait, often the following week. Fall is actually the best time for liner replacement — pools are being closed anyway, and we're less slammed.

The sooner you call, the better. We'll give you an honest estimate of current scheduling when you reach out.
